I'm finally getting around to doing an outfit post! Honestly, I haven't had time till now!
I picked this shirt up the same day as I did the Vintage 1970's cape! I also found a pink/tie dye type hoodie and a black trench coat! It was one of those jack-pot trips! Thrifting is much more fun than shopping retail! When you find a unique piece, the chances of anyone else having it are pretty slim. It's also like this big triumph! Like: "Yes. I am the ultimate shopper. This piece is AMAZING!" I get a lot more excited about clothes when I have to work to find them. What fun is walking into a store, finding your size and walking out with it?! *GRIN*
This shirt will be perfect to slide into Fall with. The toned down color screams Fall, while the white lace peeking out keeps it fun and light. And of course, you can't go wrong with a blue jean skirt! And of course, being me-flip flops peeking out! I'm just not a high heels girl! I love the way they look on other people, but I feel uncomfortable being any taller than I am, and they also hurt my feet! But I am looking forward to "dressing it up" a bit with boots! They always look more dressy to me-not sure why!
QUESTION: Are you excited for Fall? If so, why?
What a cute outfit!!! I love wearing green... actually wearing it right now!
ReplyDeleteOh my, yes! I'm SO looking forward to autumn! A time for cute hats and scarves, long walks surrounded by bright outdoor colors, reading books while sipping coffee, big sweaters, boots, brisk air, hot soup, devos on the back deck... oh, wow, I'm really excited now!!! Autumn is probably my favorite season, honestly. :)
God bless!
Rachel

H my soul YES! I am excited for fall!!!!! Why??? Because I'm sick of 105+ temperatures with no A/C. I'm ready for sweaters and baking and cozy blankets!!! Sooo ready for fall!!!!
ReplyDeleteCute outfit. Love the skirt!
That is a really nice outfit, I love the colour green. The way that your hair is done also suits you. : )
ReplyDeleteOh I am so excited for fall. I love the feel of the air, and knowing that holidays are coming. And not to mention the food! :) It is one of my favorite times of year.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy thrift store shopping too, and recently made a trip there myself. I found couple of super cute blouses. It is very satisfying.
I'm totally ready for it! It's not even been all that hot over in the UK, but I'm a knitter so looking forward to snuggly jumpers. I miss the crunchy orange leaves, pumpkin soup, crisp frosty mornings, comfort clothing and dare I say it, the return of TV shows ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit! It's really cute! That green is my favorite color.
ReplyDeleteWhere in Montana do you live? I feel really blessed to live in the beautiful mountains of Idaho :)
I love your outfit! Super cute and still modest! That's my favorite color green. Where in Montana do you live? It's beautiful there. I feel so blessed to live (very rural) in the beautiful mountains in Idaho :)
