I'm Wearing: Lace Vest-Maurices, Dress-Forever 21, Boots-Gojane.com
I've done this hairstyle once before-and remembered it last night. So I achieved this look by braiding slightly damp hair the night before, un-braiding it this morning and re-braiding it into one big, loose braid. It turned into a slightly messy braid, but I like the texture the waves make in the braid.
I used my trusty long sleeve Halftee to adapt/transition my Forever 21 floral dress for Fall. I added the white skirt underneath and white tights to pull it all together. The boots give the outfit a "Urban (dare I say) cowgirl" feel. I'm hesitant to say cowgirl because I don't really like the whole cowgirl "thing". But I suppose it won't kill me...this once. My mom said this looked like "me". I suppose it could be described as "Boho Chic style meets urban cowgirl".
Get to know me:
- I'm the middle child of 5 children (ages 28-12).
- I just discovered the TV series-"Doctor Who" (Thanks Vicki!)
- I play Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Piano (With a little help I taught myself to play all of the aforementioned instruments)
- I graduate next year!
- I almost threw up before my driver's test (from nerves!).
So that's five things about me!
QUESTION: How would you describe YOUR style?
Like this outfit a lot, Natahsa! Also really like how your hair looks in this post! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGod bless!

cute! I love this boho chic and urban cowgirl thing!! :P the layers remind me a bit of the 70s (in a good way!).
ReplyDeleteHaha, I actually love the cowgirl look, but I don't like to go overboard, you know? I love my plaid shirts (most of my shirts are plaid...haha), but I usually wear one "western" item at a time (like I won't wear cowgirl boots with a plaid shirt per se).
Yay! I'm so glad you're liking Doctor Who so far!

I love doctor who!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy style could be described as laid back and casual. I like dresses with converse a lot. That probably describes my style right there. :)
First of all, I heart that outfit!!!!
ReplyDeleteSecondly, my style? I donno, sometimes odd! but usually "Modern and Modest".
Third, I love the "get to know me" thingys - I hope you don't mind if I "steal" your idea?

I really like this outfit. I think is perfect for Autumm, in addition I love the mix of a beutiful dress with a pair of boots.
ReplyDeleteI'd define my style as a mixture between girly and boyish.
