  3. Very pretty. Very nice way to style this skirt.

Hmm... how would I style it??? Well, besides the way YOU did, maybe with a denim-colored top I have...

Hope you have a marvelous day!

  6. Hey Natasha, I was just wondering what 'denomination' you are and what church you go to. I like the pairing of those two v-neck style shirts along with the necklace! But...I have to admit I was a bit surprised to see you in such a short skirt...just wondering how you set your clothing boundarys based on the bible dress codes..? And what your standards are... no pants, pants only at home, no pants at church? (And so on...) THANKS! ;-) ~Rebekah

  7. Rebekah,
    Thanks so much for reading!
I'm non-denominational. While I'm in no way saying these should be everyone's modesty standards, these are just mine! So this is a list of things I PERSONALLY believe are modest, or immodest for me:
Shirts should be tight enough to show I'm a woman, loose enough to show I'm a lady.
Skirts/pants shouldn't be overly tight, especially in the rear area.
No low cut tops, unless paired with a cami or tank top.
My skirt length guideline is either knee length (like this lace skirt I'm wearing here) or if they're shorter, they need leggings. Any shorter than two-three inches I pair them with pants or a longer skirt underneath.

As far as your question on pants goes, wearing skirts is something I personally like to do. I felt like God was leading me to wear more skirts a couple years ago. So I wear skirts about 80% of the time, but I also wear pants and bermuda shorts.
I don't believe, personally, that the Bible gives any specifics when it comes to modesty. I know a lot of people believe the Bible says we HAVE to wear skirts, this isn't my personal belief. Does that answer your question?
I'd be more than happy to answer any other questions you might have!
    Have a fantastic day, Rebeka!

    1. Thanks for replying so quickly and answering my inquiries! ;-) While I am here I wanted to compliment you on your beautiful, long hair! My older and younger sisters both have really long hair also, but sadly I can not seem to get mine to grow after cutting it about 4 years ago... Well,it has grown, but at a pace that equals about an inch a year! :-( So...a new question I have is,what kind of things do you do for your hair? Anything special? Thanks again... ~Rebekah in Michigan

  13. Natasha, I would wear this skirt with either a chambray top (sadly I don't own one, though!), or with a light pink cami, belt, and cardigan to keep it modest!

I really like how you styled it, though! BTW I really admire your sense of style. We have similar standards, so it's nice to find modest clothing examples! Probably the hardest thing for me to wear modestly is dresses and shorts, since I am tall and thin. It's hard to find dresses that are long enough and shorts that fit nice without being shorter than my family's standards (which is basically the fingertips rule).

Anyway, great job and you look beautiful as always!
