This is one of those outfits that looks better in real life than on camera! It was inspired by an outfit I saw in a magazine (Selena Gomez I think) and I had to try it myself! Very comfortable, for the most part. Unfortunately, I may or may not have jumped the gun...*clears throat* it was 80deg. that day...but in my defense I've been cold the last few days and wanted something a bit more "Fallish"! So, note to self: step outside and check the weather before you get out of your PJS! Seriously! Sometimes I'm so confused when I get dressed-to wear Summer or Fall clothes...THAT is the question!
And as promised, here are a few of the photos we had taken down in Albuquerque! You can hardly tell we're related! *wink*

Back row, left to right: Aunt Miriam, Aunt Renee, Me, my siblings, Melissa, Onan and Mom. Next, Uncle Jerry (in black) dad and my sister Patience. Cousins, Dale, Lindsey, Abigail, Amanda and James And little ones in the front: Kylie, Caiden and Brianna. |

Sitting on left corner of couch, my sister Melissa. In front of her in black is Onan. Sitting in middle-Mom and dad of course! And you know me and Patience sitting in front of me. |

And Mom and Dad!
Since my last post, I've decided to take your advice and put my Summer shirts in easily accesible boxes under my clothes! I have this weird need to be ready for any kind of weather. Not to mention an unhealthy attachment to my clothes! I have a very hard time getting rid of clothing I don't wear! The train of thought is usually "I don't wear this, I should get rid of it. However...we spent money on it and I should wear it. But I don't. But what if I want it after I get rid of it!" *Sigh* I have come up with a good compromise though! I put the clothing to get rid of in a bag and leave it in my closet for a month or so. If I don't pull anything out in that time, then I send it off to Goodwill!
How do you decide what goes and what stays?! |
Cute outfit (especially like the third pic).
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful family pictures! Love!
The temp here has been in the mid-60's the last four days. LOVE IT! Autumn is definitely my favorite season.
Blessings!

Glad that the 'boxed' idea helped you out Natasha!
ReplyDeleteWell as from my last comment on this subject you probably already took in that I really don't have a hard time getting rid of the unworn etc.
But an idea for you, I heard about this simple one...You tie a string around the neck of your hanging item's hanger every time you wear it...At the end of the set time, you count the strings. If you have ten strings on a hanger it is a keeper! (for now) If you have a hanger with only one or no stings attached...to the old give away it goes! :)This always seemed like a great tip to me! As long as most of your questionable items are hanging ones! :)
Your outfit looks so cosy! I also have been in waiting for the cooler weather to settle in so that I can wear some sweaters! I just finished a post on our blog about it! Would love a visit from you! :)
Have a blessed rest of your week!

Um I don't mean to be rude please don't take it that way but the 2 bad picture it kinda seems like you showing off your breast with the side view AND the way you have your hands... But that's just my opionin. I know you would never on purpose!! But lovely outfit so cute!!;)
ReplyDeletePlease don't post this if is embarrassing
I absolutely love the grey and mint together! One of my fave colour combos. I'm so ready for fall, too! I love layering:)
ReplyDeleteI have such a hard time getting rid of clothes, too! I just moved into my dorm room and quickly realized that I have WAY too many clothes--facing the same issue of what to keep and what to get rid of!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Hannah =)
I can see how it could look better in person. It looks good in the photos! :)
