What I Wear-Uh...Crocs?

This is the outfit I wore to church today. A mix of casual and comfy, yet classy. I absolutely adore this cardigan, mostly because the sleeves are super long. It's rare for me to find sleeves that are long enough, usually they're too short.
I seriously tried like ten different shirts with these pants...not proud, just sayin...

The weather in Montana has been unseasonably warm lately, I'm bracing for a big WHAM! But so far...I'm still wearing sandals and short sleeves. It's gotten cooler, for sure. But usually by this time it's snowed a couple times and I'm stuck in boots.

I have to talk about my shoes. They're...Crocs! What?! I know, insane right? These are actually my second pair of Croc shoes. I always assumed that Crocs were those dorky clunky ones, not cute. Till I found these, and a pair of sandals. They're insanely comfy! Unfortunately, as I'm getting older, cute goes out the window if the shoes aren't comfortable. I'm tired of wearing shoes that kill my feet, enter these lovelies.

Have you ever worn Crocs?

What I Wear-Autumn Trends Event Day 1

I'm making my attempt at joining Ashley's Fall blog event. The only snag is that it's currently 80 deg. where I live! While I'd love to wear a sweater or a pair of boots, it's not feasible today. Tomorrow is forecasted as 54 and rain, so maybe I'll get to wear long sleeves at the very least.

So I picked this outfit because it has a sort of Fall "vibe" to it. The darker colors, scarf and closed toe shoes felt sort of Fall-ish to me.

Funny secret about my scarf, promise you won't tell? Well, okay I'll tell you. I had a striped skirt that hit mid calf, an unflattering length. So I snipped it off and 'voila-presto! A striped scarf. How very classy of me. Haha!

What I Wear-Being Myself!

So I think I've finally nailed down my "clothing issues". I've been dressing for other people! I wasn't getting dressed in the morning for me, I was looking for a cute outfit other people would like! How insane is that?! Instead of doing what I always talk about (dressing to glorify God), I was trying to be something I'm not. I'll never be the best dressed, most fashionable, or the best fashion blogger. I can, however, be the best me. I think I was trying to emulate other people too much-simply because I admired their style. For instance, I love how other people look in high heels, but I'm a boots and flip flops girl! So, this morning I dressed like: me. I paired a casual striped shirt with a casual green skirt. Nothing fancy, but it suits me. I feel comfortable in this outfit! Maybe it's not your style, maybe it is. Take it from me-be yourself! If you try to be someone else, you'll just end up being a second rate _______(insert name) instead of a first rate you!
