My name is Natasha and I live in the beautiful majestic mountains of Montana. Regardless of popular belief, not everyone in Montana walks around in a cowboy hat and boots. I would describe my style as "fashionably modest." You won't find me donning every single fad in the fashion realm-I like to pick and choose my items carefully. I'm a Thriftaholic, cheapskate, who isn't afraid to dig through the sales racks in retail stores, or the piles of clothes at thrift stores. I'm not afraid to try new things (within reason!). I'm the middle child of 5 Atkerson children-all Homeschooled. My father is a Pastor-thus making me a PK (Pastor's Kid). I play bass guitar and sing in our church worship group, I also play acoustic guitar and piano.
I'm never still for long, and I'm constantly finding new hobbies. I enjoy everything from crafts and walking in my lovely mountains, to drawing and painting.
I mainly focus on pencil portraits (check out my art blog HERE)

I won't share any "modest rules" because I don't believe there's any hard and fast rules for every person. I believe modesty standards are different from person to person. Something I would wear might not be acceptable for someone else. So for the sake of clarification I'll share my personal standards: No low cut shirts/cleavage, skirts at the knee, or if they're any shorter should be accompanied by leggings or pants. Shirts should be "tight enough to show you're a woman, loose enough to show you're a lady". Pants shouldn't be extremely tight.
This blog has stretched me in more ways than one. I'm so incredibly blessed to have this "soap box" to talk about God, modesty and everyday life. I'm very thankful that God has used many of my blog readers to change my perspective, and to grow in HIM (Jesus Christ). Anyway, that's just a little about me.
