What I Wear- Oriental Flower Dress And A Poem

Prince Charming
There for me 24/7, available to talk at any given moment.
Intense listener, sensitive.
He's perfect.

Doesn't care what I look like, He only cares about my heart.
His motives are pure, He never makes me do anything.
He's Caring.

He waited for years till I noticed Him.
He's patient.

Consistent, He's never lied to me. Ever.
He never changes His mind.
He's steady.

There's no pressure, yet He desires to be with me every moment.
We're constantly talking.

He's a communicator.
He walks every step of life with me.

I know He'll never leave.
He's constant.

He let little Children sit on His lap. When they told the children to leave, He told them no.
He's a lover of children.

He gave up His life for mine.
He's Jesus.

He's caring arms to hold me.
He's my Heavenly Father.

Magazines I Write For, Please Check Them Out!

No comments:
Hello ladies!
I've been meaning to post about the magazine I write for, but never got around to it!
But now I have a second magazine I'll be writing for! Jessica (from Girlz 4 Christ) emailed me and asked me to help write the magazine! I'm very excited to see where both these magazines will go. You never know when what starts as a small magazine could turn into an amazing ministry for God!

I'm currently a regular columnist for both these ladies' magazines. I write themed articles for Raquel's Visions Of Virtue Magazine, and have been writing for (I believe) two issues. So I haven't been doing this long. I hope to grow my writing abilities, while at the same time supporting ministries I believe in.

Visions Of Virtue Magazine-
This is an actual printed magazine, and I would love if all of you were to subscribe to it! Its a very reasonable price-$12 for 6 issues. Be sure to let Raquel know I sent you! (Since I haven't been the best for PR..*clears throat)

And the new magazine I will be writing for next year! (I know that sounds like a long time away, but really it isn't!)
Girlz 4 Christ Magazine
You can subscribe for free, or if you feel led- a $5 donation.

The Lost Art Of- Holding The Door

6 comments:
A topic that has really "reached out and grabbed me" lately, holding the door for people! My Mom and Dad have taught us since we were little to hold the door for people. Not because whoever we're holding the door for is an invalid, or not cabapble of doing it themselves. But because-at least in my house-its a sign of respect. That you respect these people enough not to let the door slam in their face!

I know I've read alot about women getting mad at men for holding the door, but I honestly don't know why! I think its absolutley ridiculous! As if by letting someone hold the door for them, their giveing back their right to vote or something!

I have an awesome story of how you can influence others- in this case to hold the door.
On the way out the door of the bank, my younger brother held the door for us-and a little boy. I could see all over the little boys face he was thinking "Oh, holding the door is what big boys do!" Upon looking at my brother, he promptly held the next door for all of us! It was so sweet and cute! And only goes to show that you can influence others for good, just by holding the door!

I don't believe that guys should be the only ones holding the door either, my personal practise is to hold the door for whomever is behind you (guy or girl).

And if someone holds the door for you, BE SURE TO SAY THANK YOU! A thank you can go a long way!

Hebrews 13:1-2 Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.

Let me ask you a question. How would you feel if you knew that you'd slammed the door in an angels face? How would you feel if you knew you'd held the door for an angel?! Personally, I'll stick with number two! LOL! : )

Perhaps you have a different view on this, if so I would love to hear it. I won't ridcule you for having a different opinion! But if you do have a different opinion, please state your reasoning.

Writing a book...and the challenges that go with it!

Hi! So heres the thing! I'm writing a book (yes! Another one! Don't tell my friend in FL!: )LOL! And yes, its another sword wielding/bad guy fighting/girl saves the world story! Hows that for a synposis?! I actually had a revelation the other day and came up with story plot twist! I'm totally obessed with the "sword era" and wierd names! I actually came up with a few (made up) names! The main characters name is Saigan (Say-gun) and then sub-characters names Kianna (Key-ana). I think the "Obi-wan" charcters names Saralynne(Sarah-lin) . So...heres what I want to know, which of these story names do you like better?
