Guest Post: Ëarwen

Hello, everyone! This is Ëarwen, from Thoughts of a Shieldmaiden.

Natasha has asked me to do a guest post on an outfit I wear, so here you have it! This is actually one I wore a little while ago, for something called the Maid Marian weekend (which was a blast!)

I liked it so much, though, that it has become one of my favorite outfits!
The dress is one from a thrift store - it used to reach my ankles, but then it got too short to wear on Sunday, the day I normally wore it.
So I made it into a tunic! It was simple - I took my belt, pulled the dress up and belted it, then let the top hang a little so it looked like modern-medieval (if there is such a mix!)
Next, I wore my riding boots. They needed polished, but they ended up looking pretty good!
And the sweater came from my older sister. It is a plain, green sweater with 3-quarter sleeves that I usually don't wear, but I loved how it looked with the outfit.
