This skirt is sort of my own personal taste of Spring! Simply putting it on seems to bring Spring just a tad quicker. I don't mind the snow much now, but I am sort of yearning for the green grass of Summer, sunburns and sweating to death. I'm totally convinced that people who live in warmer climates where it's never really Winter can never truly appreciate the coming of Spring and Summer! The first sign of sunshine, a few crazy people get out in their shorts...seriously...in 45 degree weather. I'm not condoning that, but we do enjoy our nice weather far more than others! I do have to admit that I did indeed take off my jacket a few weeks ago, wore short sleeves and rolled the windows down when it got to 40 degrees one day.
My family and I have discussed numerous times that we think people's bodies must adapt to the weather they live in. When we first moved to Montana in March 2003 we were dressed in coat, hat, gloves, scarves-the whole shi-bang! And we wondered why people were staring at us...as they wore their shorts and flip flops...
QUESTION: Do you think you've adapted at all to your particular climate-be it hot or cold?

ReplyDeleteI've lived in Indiana my whole life, so I think I'm pretty accustomed to the seasons and temperatures here! :-) I guess I'll have to go through acclimating to a new environment in a couple of years (my husband and I have some long-term plans to move). We'll see what happens then!
