What I Wear-Nightgown Meets Preppy Pirate

Brown Sweater-Thrifted, Plaid Shirt-Herbergers, Pants-Kmart, Boots-Hand me downs-Gojane.com  + Wet Hair!

Amidst a lovely blanket of gloriously lovely white snow, I'm sharing my rendition of the sweater layered over a plaid shirt trend. I've seen quite a few people rocking it, so I thought I'd butcher it! It looks cuter in person, promise...or at least I think it does...

Ever have one of those days were you tear your closet apart trying to come up with an outfit? The inspiration just isn't there, but the mess left over sure is! Piles of skirts, shirts and belts are strewn across the closet. This plaid shirt looks ridiculously big on me by itself, so I added a (bit) more fitted brown sweater. I also paired it with my over the knee boots (hand me down from my sister Patience).

I also learned a valuable lesson today-don't ask the photographer to crouch down for boot pictures....she'll lose her balance and throw your camera into a pile of snow....

  5. Pretty! I like the brown and red together. =) I think if you knotted the plaid shirt a little shorter it would look extra nice.

This is an open discussion, being so, I'm open to other people's opinions! However, please keep the discussion nice and if you'd like to critique something, please do it tactfully! I.E-instead of "I hate that outfit!" putting, "I think the outfit is a bit miss matched, however I like ___."
Your comments are so appreciated-you rock!
