Thank you all so much! Quite a few if you gave taken my survey and I'm gleaning quite a bit from each entry.
The main theme I'm seeing is more posting and specifically THM posts.
I would be more than happy to share more about THM, though I should let ya know it's not going to be mind blowing.
I would be curious if anyone has specific questions or topics about THM they'd like covered?
For now I'll share some waffles I made yesterday. They were incredible! They're dense like a "real" waffle, but healthy for you. I took a tip from some of the ladies on the THM facebook page and used the muffin in a mug recipe on page 256 of the Trim Healthy Mama book-only I replaced the cocoa powder with whey protein powder (straight substitution).
I would love to hear your THM tweaks, or just healthy eating tips!
This outfit is something I commonly wear to hang out. I don't always wear extras like; scarves, jewelry, etc. But I found these scarves at Wal Mart 2 for $4.97! I couldn't resist adding the scarf for a splash of fun. Maxi skirts are perfect for housework and hanging out-they're about as close to wearing PJs as one can get.
Thanks for reading!
Neat scarf Natasha! It's nice how it has the combo of black/brown so you can get away with that mix without feeling too guilty about it! :)

Nice outfit... I love when people know how to keep it simple. Fancy outfits have their place, but basics are wonderful too!!!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question on my blog, I'm not strictly THM (because of other issues and some personal opinions as well), but I use their book is a guideline! I love eating in a healthy way, so their insights are wonderful! :-)
Hi Natasha!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your scarf and skirt!! I saw the same deal on scarves at my Walmart and I want to grab them all ;)
Where did you get the skirt? I have been searching and searching for a black maxi as a good staple in my closet but can't find one anywhere.
I always enjoy reading your blog!

I got this skirt years ago at Macys for $2! Rue 21 has black maxi skirts for $3-$5-that would be where I reccomend you look for one.
DeleteI love love love your outfit!!! I'm just wondering, is this something you wore recently? Because here in Oregon we just had a 90 degree day so (for me) it seems a little strange to see you in a scarf and long-sleeved top. Nevertheless, adorable outfit. Totally something I would wear...once it gets cooler of course!
ReplyDeleteAshley, long story! Basically, it snowed that day and today it was 80 deg-life in Montana is filled with insane weather extremes!
DeleteThanks for reading,
Natasha
Oh my goodness! That is truly the extremes. But- I must say that I can relate. Oregon weather truly can be a mess as well! :)
DeleteCute and comfy looking outfit! Your waffles also look delish. :)
ReplyDeleteThose waffles look so good. Do you put pure maple syrup on them? What sort of waffle maker do you use? My waffles almost never completely rise or cook on the top- they just stay doughy and white on one side- and I blame it on my cheap waffle maker. Though it may be my cooking skills!
ReplyDeleteGoodness! I love that scarf you are wearing! And those waffles look yummy! :)
ReplyDeleteCute outfit. Love the scarf. It looks perfect for fall. Comfy and cozy. Did you get any of the cold weather or snow last week?
