THM Update-Month 2

Since I had such a great response to my last THM update, I decided to go ahead and update all of you again! As I've said before, I don't plan on doing these more than about once a month.

I apologize for the blurriness of the August picture....and the horrid outfits...and my weird face....
I've lost 22lbs so far, which is exciting! I was never able to lose very much weight through exercise-so yes! It's true what they say (whomever "they" are!) weight loss is 80% food and 20% exercise!

Five things I've leard this month:
1. To loosen up and not be such a "food perfectionist."
2. Fruit tastes better when you're not eating it at every meal!
3. Inflammation causes heart attacks, not fat in foods. Fat is your friend (at least in food!)
4. Xylitol is actually a beneficial sweetner to your teeth!
5. I'm a health book geek...seriously! I spent last Friday night reading a book about the benefits of Xylitol on your teeth, rather than watching a movie like usual!

December 2011 is when we started exercising. August is 2013 is when we started THM.

I think the side profile is a better indication of how awesome THM is!

So far, I've lost 22lbs eating this...horrible "diet"...
