What I Wear-Resurrection Day Sisters + Link up!

3 comments:
Happy Resurrection Day everyone! Today is a reflection of all Jesus has done, as well as all He will do. I'm so grateful I'm not just going to sit in the ground when I die-aren't you?! Some serious boredom issues would eventually occur...I'm just saying...not to mention the other direction apart from Christ.

This Sunday is also a good excuse to don a pretty outfit! I'm displaying my outfit, as well as both my sisters'! Outfit specifics are below the first photo of every outfit if you're interested as well as various ramblings ..or you could just scroll through the pictures and leave a comment! ; )

{Natasha's Outfit}
I donned my eShakti dress for Easter, wearing it much the same as I did before, instead wearing my hair down, adding a petticoat for skirt volume and switching shoes! The shoe switch was a bad idea! I've worn the shoes before, however this time around they gave me horrible blisters on the sides of my toes...not too comfortable now. Seriously, I think a guy invented girls' shoes!

{Melissa's Outfit}
Melissa is wearing a dress and shrug from Maurices and high heels from Payless.

 {Patience's Outfit}
Patience is wearing a jean jacket from Vanity, dress from JcPenney, Skirt From Vanity, Boots from Herbergers

(Don't ask...I told to her to stop looking so stiff in the photos...this is what you get..)

Now it's YOUR turn! Leave a link to your Resurrection Day/Easter outfit in a comment!

What I Wear- 40's Maurices Dress

So I'm super excited! The Nancy Drew Fashion Week starts day after tomorrow! Are you ready? I'm not! I realized I planned on making a dress, and never got around to it. Now that's sad! My own fashion show, not ready for it! Plane b? Thrift stores here I come! Remember, you can enter here or on Ashley's Blog. I encourage you to head over to her blog and become a follower. She has an awesome blog, and you can keep up with the entries at her blog as well!
So what do you think of me getting all fancy on you? Yep, blurred background! Simply any blogger who's anyone is blurring the backgrounds...or something like that. Of course, real fashion bloggers probably can figure out how to set the camera to do that, I cheated and used Gimp.
Welcome to all of my new (and old) followers! I now have 160 people interested in modest fashion! That rocks! And since your supposed to write like every person reading your blog is a new follower, I'll give you a more personal update on me! I'm totally and insanely obsessed with music, and I'm currently teaching myself to play piano! The piano is such an amazing instrument (even if mine is out of tune)! I'm working on playing Ode To Joy by Bethoveen. I'm having a hard time reading the music, as every other insturment I've ever played (bass and acoustic guitar) has chords (such A-G and Am-Gm and a bunch of other boring stuff I won't mention) But I am making some progress reading the music. Patience and perserverance right?
Pink Coral Cardigan Vanity ($2) 40's style dress Maurices (gift for my 16th birthday) Black boots Payless (borrowed from mom)

What I Wear- Please Excuse The Greasy Hair...

1 comment:
Hey everyone! Please take pity on me, and don't comment on my greasy hair and bad colored photos! I should have taken the photos earlier today, but obviously I didn't! But I took them, okay?! I'm oh so excited about my black pea coat I got for Christmas! Mom and Dad, ya did good! It fits perfectly, and honestly its just as warm as my 'winter coat'. Wool seems to be similar to down coats, in that they seem to block the cold out, almost like a wall or something.

Aren't my pictures lovely? Ha!Ha! I'm joking! Photos didn't go so good....too much holidays for me!
What I Wear-
Black Wool Pea Coat-Fashion Bug (Gift)
Teal Blue Maurices Ruffled Shirt-$3.25
Knee Length Plaid Wool Skirt-Thrifted $3.99
Bear Paw boots- borrowed
I picked up some red and teal blue yarn today, so look out world! Natashas making scarfs! Thank you to everyone who gave their input on how much they would spend on scarfs! I think I can hit around that range, depending on how long it takes me to make them.

What I Wear- Kosher Casual Skirt!

5 comments:
I'm very honored to be reviewing Kosher Casual's fold over waist skirt! I'm not doing a sell job on you here, it really is quite comfortable! I can honestly say it will become a favorite skirt for me! With a flattering cut, comfy fabric (a combination of like excercise pants and slinky fabric), how can you go wrong? I love the length (just a few inches below the knee) and of course the color-I'm a sucker for black! In addition to the lovely skirt I received another surprise-the packege came from Israel! The labels were in another language! So cool for me, as it was like getting a little piece of culture from across the world. The funny things is, by the dates on the packege, it took less time to get from Israel to Montana, than it does to ship from Montana to Florida! Yep...pretty sad!

Miss Samantha Demure- $5 At My Boutique
Purple Shirt- Herbergers $3.99

What I Wear- Below The Knee Plaid Wool Skirt

Hey everyone! You know, last year I disliked snow...its starting to...to..to..grow on me! *SHHHH!!!* Don't tell Mom! Pretty background, no?! Whats more perfect for Winter 2010 than a calf length wool plaid skirt? I wore this outfit yesterday for church, minus the black tights (I had white) and the pink shrug. But I didn't get a picture yesterday...and I really liked the outfit! So here it is again! If you saw me yesterday in this outfit...well...get over it! LOL! : ) Just joking!

Please forgive the hair, its greasy and I didn't feel like taking a shower.

Black Shirt- Decree $5
Pink Shrug- Herbergers $4
Belt- Maurices (came with shirt)

What I Wear- "How To Convert Summer Clothes Into Fall Clothes"

9 comments:
Hey everyone! Today's outfit "How To Convert Summer Clothes Into Fall Clothes" is just that! After Summer comes Fall, which usually consists of clothing frustrations! All your cute Summer clothes must be put into a box to gather dust till its warm enough. Or do they? I don't think so! Right now I have both Summer and Winter clothing in my closet; thanks to layering! All you need is a long sleeve shirt that fits you well in the arms and upper chest area and you have a layering shirt! The one I'm wearing here is actually a cast off of my little sisters. Its waaaayyyy too tight to wear by itself, but the sleeves fit me perfectly! And because its so tight, there isn't any bunching going on! So I actually recommend wearing a tight shirt (in this case of course!).

What I Wear-
Green Ruched Sleeve Shirt- Maurices
Striped Shirt-HMD
White Skirt- Goodwill
Black Leggings- Target
Brown Boots- Maurices
Black Belt-Maurices
Pearl Necklaces -Payless and Vanity
Aviator Glasses- Payless
