I'm super excited about two new shirts I found at JcPenney! This one-and one with roses! For $7.99! So cute, thermal waffle fabric with holes! Yep, you heard me right! Holes! Thumb holes, that is. I think the thumb holes give at an extra 'something'.

I got these cute ballet flats at Payless for $8! A super good deal! I broke one of the fashion rules today, I wore more than one statement piece!

QUESTION: Whats The Best After Christmas Sale Item You've Bought?

What I Wear- Teal Scarf Texture Mixing!

10 comments:
Hey everyone! I can not believe day after tomorrow is Christmas Day! I don't know if I'm old enough yet to say this, but here it goes: "Boy! Does time fly!" I hear that only people over the age of 20 are allowed to say that, but I'm breaking all the expectations today! Oh yeah! Wait! Does that age me by four years? Hmm.... Today's look is my "rule breaker, I'm so bad look". I mixed two patterns, successfully! Its kind of not mixing them though, since you can't see that my skirt has pin stripes. But I can!

I made this teal scarf, and I was going to sell it...but its way too stiff! I can't fold it, so onto the next endeavor! I'm thinking of making some skirts to sell, any interest in this?
What I Wear-
Thrifted Leopard Shirt
White Pac Sun Tank Top
Handmade Crocheted Teal Scarf
Thrifted Pin Stripe Skirt
Wal Mart Tights
Emu Boots

Hey everyone! Well Thanksgiving is over, and on toward CHRISTmas! I can't believe that its nearly December!
(A Reminder: The BOGO 50% on Demures ends Dec 1!)
I've been strangely absent from Blog world for a few reasons, not the least being that I'm very uninspired! My clothes have been very boring lately, and my poor readers have received the brunt of it! Basically, I put my hair in a ponytail and slip a shirt and blue jean skirt on and call it a day! While that isn't awful in and of itself, seeing that outfit on someones blog over, and over, and over, and over, is quite maddening! Plus very uninspiring for my readers as well! But I don't think that I'm the only one-nobody else is blogging outfits either!- and yes, I'm blaming shifting! Ha! Ha! Anyways...today's outfit isn't anything special. Just a laid back casual outfit. I did have my Mary Janes out, but they dissapeard *spooky music* So these will have to do. Just my regular Payless fashion!

What I Wear-
Long sleeve shirt- Wal Mart $5
Skirt- Thrifted Maurices $3.99
Blue Colored Tights- Herbegers $2
Shoes-Payless $??
Necklace-Claires $1

Hey everyone! You know, last year I disliked snow...its starting to...to..to..grow on me! *SHHHH!!!* Don't tell Mom! Pretty background, no?! Whats more perfect for Winter 2010 than a calf length wool plaid skirt? I wore this outfit yesterday for church, minus the black tights (I had white) and the pink shrug. But I didn't get a picture yesterday...and I really liked the outfit! So here it is again! If you saw me yesterday in this outfit...well...get over it! LOL! : ) Just joking!

Please forgive the hair, its greasy and I didn't feel like taking a shower.

Black Shirt- Decree $5
Pink Shrug- Herbergers $4
Belt- Maurices (came with shirt)

QUESTION:
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WOOL SKIRTS? WARMER THAN COTTON?

What I Wear-Feminine Miltary Inspired Take 2! + Slouchy Boots Question

9 comments:
Hey everyone! So I know I've done this military shirt before recently HERE but I decided I wanted to wear it again, enough said?! Just joking-kind of. I did decide to pair it with completely opposite colors and jewelry. Once again, I'm pairing my skirt with my 'slouchy' boots! (read on Grace!) I do have to say that they are my favorite pair of shoes (next to my furry winter Emus HERE and HERE) they also have a fur lining I can pull down! Which is awesome! For some reason, I don't think fur is good before it snows...but maybe I should change that, no?

What I Wear-
Military Inspired Jacket- Vanity- $15
Hot Pink Shirt- Pac Sun $2
Skirt- Goodwill $2.99
Leggings- Target $2
Boots-Maurices $5

And now for Grace' question! Finally! (sorry)
Grace says"I like your slouch boots as well, and I have a question about them...what can you wear slouch boots with? Like, is there anything that looks really bad? I like to wear skirts, what type of skirts would they look good with? (my slouch boots are tall, black ones.)"
Grace, I really don't think you can go wrong with boots and skirts! They look great (in my opinion) together. I don't recommend wearing a skirt that goes past the boots (like over the boot itself) because this looks slightly odd. Black is the perfect color and should work well for you! In addition to the above post on my wearing boots you can also check out these:
