What I Wear-Floral Shirt And Blue Jean Skirt

I'm wearing yet another casual skirt outfit! Blue jean skirts are definitely a must, just like your favorite pair of blue jean pants! I pulled out my Summery floral and brown shirt-which I haven't worn since Summer 2012! You can see how I styled it last time HERE. It's nice as the weather changes to be able to basically have "new" clothes! Long sleeves are set aside for short sleeves and Summery skirts. 

So I've been pushing my mom towards "eating clean." My mom and I have been reading some books and trying to incorporate more fresh fruits and vegetables in our diet. We found an awesome resource for eating better on a budget, it's called Bountiful Baskets! It's basically a food co-op, we were so excited to find it in our area! I encourage you to check and see if your state/city is doing it-it's awesome! Basically, they buy in season items based on how many people sign up. You never know what goodies might be hiding in your basket! That being said-

"The" skirt!

Hey everyone! I've written yet another post! I'm so proud of myself! As I said, I've been extremley uninspired lately. Posting a hoodie and jeans is not really what I want to do! Yes, I'm sorry! You might as well know the truth, some days I just throw on a pair of comfy jeans and a warm hoodie and tee shirt! Although you'll probably never see that side of me... : ) Just not the thing to post on a blog where your trying to promote modesty, and creative dress ideas! So thus, only the outfits I deem appropriate for public view are posted! I know, bad and evil!

My outfit is centered around this skirt< I've had it in the back of my closet, and I loved it when I bought it! But I never found anything to wear it with. So, I stepped out! This is the result! Sorry for the wierd pose, but I always feel wierd, and Patience-my little sister- came up with it! : )P

Blue vest-JCPenneys

Skirt- Good will

Shoes- Lands End

I messed around with this one, and I love the outcome! All I did was convert one copy of the photo into greyscale, and put it into Paint program. Next, take the color copy and crop yourself out, and paste it over the greyscale! I know I'm gonna be doing a bunch of these now that I figured it out! : )P

Hello again everyone! Well..I've been at it again! Ink and colored pencils have once again called to me! I tried out some different types of eyes! Which is your favorite? I think I like the one in black and white with the curly hair is of Saigan! I'm in the habit of printing grayscale pictures off the internet, and sketching over them. Some of them, its to see the movement, such as how they draw the bow! Some its for the way the hood lies! As in this picture! Does anyone have any tips for drawing girls shooting bows? I can't seem to get it right. the arms always too long, and it doesn't look like shes actually pulling the string! It just sort of "hangs" there! HELP!!!!!!!!!

This picture is slightly delayed, but I wanted to show it. Its of Mary (mother of Jesus) I drew it Christmas Eve, while we were waiting for people to show up. My dad was playing Christmas music on his guitar....and it just sort of came to me! I love how it came out! I had a bit of a hard time with her hand, I'm still not entirely content with it. there too thin, and comic like.

"Drum roll please!" QUEEN KY'ESHA! I'm sure you've all been dying to see these! *chuckle* Ok, I've been dying to show you! I love how this one came out! The eyes are exactly what I wanted! I chose purple (yes in the other picture her eyes are green! Sorry!) because purple stands for royalty! Bet ya didn't think of that did you? The streak of red hair marks her for royalty!

And last, but certainly not least! Ky'Esha's village outfit! This is the outfit she wears when she first meets Saiagn. I'm not entirely sure who to do next.....I'll have to think on that! What do you all think of them?
