Summer 2010 Modest Online Fashion Show! July 1-7

I'm very excited to announce What I Wear, What I Do And Why I Did It's second Modest Fashion Show! I was very pleased with the last fashion show, but I'm going to change things up a bit. I was incredibly thrilled to see several Modest Fashion Weeks pop up! Maybe we "modest fashion bloggers" can flood the world with modest fashion! I'm extremley excited to see what God can do through this, perhaps it will get even larger, and include more and more people every time. I encourage you to tell your friends and family about this event, and if you like you can print up this poster to put up at your church or youth group room (with permission of course!) The fashion Show will consist of two categories: 1.Fashion Photos (pictures of outfits your outfits during Fashion Week) 2. Write a blog post about Modesty, fashion or Christianty. I could really use some help getting the word out there, as well as reminding people closer to the deadline. I'm not going to go through a list of "things you can't wear" and whats "not modest" but I reserve the right to refuse any entry that I feel does not meet the standards of this fashion show. If you are in doubt as to if something is acceptable for the fashion show, feel free to comment and I will get back to you as soon as possible. The winner of the fashion show will receive a prize! So make sure your outfit is modest, cute, and well put together! You can check out the previous fashion show posts for inspiration. How can I enter? You can enter by becoming a follower (if you are not already) and leaving your name, email and Blog address In the linky on my blog.

How will a winner be chosen? A winner will be chosen by a selection of a small group of judges.

Why does the banner say "shout it?" The banner says "shout it" because I want people to "shout from the roof tops" that you can dress modestly, and be proud of it!

Wondering About The Fashion Show Banner?

So some of you may have noticed the Banner about the Fashion Show! I'm very excited to announce that I will be hosting it July 1-7 2010! I will be posting details later this week, but for now if you like you can take the any of the banners to put on your blog. I would really appreciate it! Also, I made these banners instead of buttons because if its at the top of your blog, then people remember better. I say this because of the Anne Of Green Gables button I have on top, (I thought it was THIS month!). When I do the post about the Fashion Show this week, it will explain why it says "shout it". If you have a request for a banner ( like a certain color or something) Please let me know! I would be happy to do it for you.

Also, since I haven't written the post for the fashion show yet, so there is still time to change things. If you have any requests of things that might be fun, please let me know! This fashion show will be different from the last (I won't say how yet) but I have a few ideas up my sleeve. I would really like your input as to the fashion show, and ways we can make it more fun! Modest Online Fashion Show Day 4- Sea Skirt

Hey everyone! So today is the 4th day of the Modest Online Fashion Show! And heres another outfit!
Hey everyone! I'm having the greatest fun with this event! Your all so encouraging! Your outfits are cute, but most importantly modest! I have no idea how I'm going to pick my top three! I can't even pick a favorite of the past three days! Not good!

For whatever reason, this skirt reminds me of the ocean! Don't ask me why! I have something awesome to share with you about the skirt too. I had seen this really cute skirt that was almost identical to this one, but....it was $36! WAAAAYYY out of price range! My Mom said she would buy it for me, but I said "No, its too much money." Well, about two stores later I found this one! For a third of the price! So awesome! Total God thing! Moral of the story, if you don't have the money, wait! Pray, and trust God!

Hello everyone! First off, I want to apologize for the lack of Mr. Linky's on the bottoms of the post! I was on vacation for the weekend in Spokane from the 26th through today! I had the posts on a schedule, and only checked the computer Friday night at the hotel. So sorry to everyone!
