I'm going to open myself up and be honest with you girls, I failed! I let myself and God down. My mom and I had a blow up Sunday (I had a meltdown) about my shirt yesterday. I knew in my heart of hearts that it was too tight and not modest. I guess maybe I didn't care? I really have no answer! Have you ever put something on and thought "this isn't modest, I shouldn't be wearing it." but walked out in it just the same? That's what I did. Only thankfully I have a mother who's honest with me and holds my clothing to God's standards. I did change into something that wasn't tight. Looking at my closet, I ended up tossing about 5 or 6 things that were really cute, but not modest. Some of them I hadn't worn yet, or had worn and felt weren't appropriate. The point of this? I have modesty issues too! I was compromising. I can't give you a reason why I did, I can say that I will try very hard not to do it again. So if you've been reading my blog for awhile, and put me on a 'modesty pedastal' kindly take me off! Because I'm not perfect! Never have, never will be in this world. I blew it, and I hope I can do better in the future. I intend to go through my entire closet and get rid of anything that's too tight.

That having been said, God blessed me with two very cute dresses today for $3 at Goodwill that fit me perfectly! I can't wait to share them with you.
The snow has finally melted and the Sunshines out! It got to like 60-65 deg. today! I wore flip flops and no tights and didn't freeze! We had lunch outside on our porch and I got 20 minutes of glorious sunshine! I'm a bit pink now, but I have been in the house for over 8 months, and rarely have my legs seen the light. I adore the sun!
I'm wearing: Purple Shirt
Aeropostale (Gift) White Tank Top
?? Blue Jean Skirt
Thrifted ($3) White Skirt
Thrifted ($3) Flip Flops
Old Navy ($1)
I also made lunch Saturday for the family. No, this won't become a food blog-I promise. But I couldn't resist posting photos! Food is so fun to photograph! It was a good meal (I think, no one said anything about it being disgusting or anything like that!) although slightly odd. I cooked the chicken in a cast iron pan and while it cooked, cut up onions, celery and carrots. After the chicken cooked for a bit, I seasoned it with cajun seasoning (I know, Orientals don't use cajun seasoning as far as I know!) But we didn't have enough sweet and sour sauce, and no teriyaki sauce.
